"Shuxin Post Station" and "Worry-free Platform" … Digital service protects children’s mental health together.
CCTV News:The All-China Women’s Federation and the Ministry of Education recently launched the 2024 National Family Education Publicity Week, focusing on family education guidance and promoting children’s mental health. Women’s federations at all levels organize to build service positions, extend services to schools, communities and towns, and carry out mental health publicity and counseling services.

In this "Shuxin Station" in Datang Community, Yuexiu District, Guangzhou, volunteer Liang Yuman is conducting psychological counseling for a family who came to consult.

Guangdong Women’s Federation has set up more than 400 "comfort stations" in communities and towns, and has built a psychological service team of "women workers+social workers+experts" with a scale of more than 1,100 people by introducing professional psychological consultation institutions, linking professional psychological consultants and cultivating psychological volunteers.

Shaanxi Women’s Federation also set up a volunteer service team for children’s mental health growth in the "Sunshine Campus Tour", and went into rural primary and secondary schools to give lectures and training on mental health for teachers and parents. Through sports games, interactive questions and answers and other forms, we will provide psychological counseling for left-behind children, promote family-school co-education and protect their healthy and happy growth.
Create a digital platform to protect the healthy development of children
Fujian Women’s Federation explores and develops a "worry-free" mental health service platform for teenagers, and uses digital means and professional services to protect the healthy development of children.

In Pingxi Primary School in Fuzhou, teachers bring relaxed and interesting mental health science classes to children through the "worry-free" youth service platform. What if my best friend ignores me in life? How to adjust the study plan? Students answer questions on the platform, so that children can get emotional relief in the game and master ways to deal with psychological confusion.

The platform is based on 6— 9 years old, 9— 12 years old, 12— The psychological characteristics and growth needs of 14-year-old children of three ages, using digital means, carefully designed the game, guided the question bank and solutions, so that children can enhance their understanding and grow up healthily in the immersive experience. The platform can also assist school teachers to master and judge children’s psychological problems in time, and effectively carry out psychological counseling and guidance services.

The platform also links parents, volunteers, family education commissioners, etc. to jointly care for children’s physical and mental health. In Guixi Community, Fuzhou, Wang Mengxin, a family education correspondent, instructed parents to have parent-child interaction through the platform to understand children’s mental health knowledge.

The staff introduced that issues such as the relationship between two children and three children, adolescent rebellion, parent-child relationship, etc., through the big data analysis and integration of the platform, counseling and consulting services can be more targeted.

According to reports, since the launch of the mental health guidance service platform for children in Fujian Province in 2023, as of April 2024, it has covered 2,251 primary and secondary schools, community parent schools, educational institutions, social work organizations and other units in Fujian, with a total of 726,000 users.
