The report shows that in 2023, the quality of urban acoustic environment in China is generally improving, and the compliance rate of manual monitoring of acoustic environment functional areas during the day and at night is stable and rising year-on-year. All localities and departments actively explore new modes of noise pollution control, constantly strengthen source prevention and control, and promote low-noise products and equipment; Consolidate the foundation of acoustic environmental management, and 36 municipalities directly under the central government, provincial capital cities and cities with separate plans have basically completed the construction and networking of automatic monitoring stations for acoustic environmental quality in functional areas; Strengthen the supervision of key noise sources and incorporate industrial noise into the pollutant discharge permit; We will promote social co-governance, carry out pilot projects in quiet communities and noise mapping, continue to carry out "green nursing examination" and set up "quiet car" for 92 trains, so that the noise pollution prevention and control work will be further systematic, refined and scientific.
